Privacy and cookies

This website does not set cookies, does not use analytics and does not track you. There is nothing to accept and nothing to turn off.

What the company holds about its members is a separate matter, and a longer one. It is set out below and in full in the privacy notice.

This website

A set of plain pages, built once and served as they are.

  • Cookies

None. The site does not put anything on your device, so there is no cookie banner to click through and nothing stored between visits.

  • Analytics and tracking

None. We do not measure who visits, which pages get read or where you came from. No advertising, no tracking pixels, no third party scripts.

  • Fonts and images

Served from this site rather than from somebody else's, so loading a page does not tell another company that you were here.

  • Accounts and forms

There are none. Nothing on this site asks you for your name, your address or anything else, and there is nowhere for it to be sent.

Where this website hands you over

Two links take you somewhere that is not ours, and once you are there you are covered by their terms rather than by ours.

Tickets are sold through Seaty, which takes your booking, your payment and your contact details, and which the company also uses to hold membership records. Our privacy notice explains what we do with what comes back from them.

The company keeps in touch through Facebook, which is a company in its own right and sets its own cookies the moment you arrive there.

What the company holds

About members, people thinking of joining, and the parents of anyone under 18.

Willenhall Musical Theatre Company holds personal information so it can run the company and its productions, keep people safe and stay in touch. That means names and contact details, dates of birth, emergency contacts, any medical or access needs, photographs and video, and membership, ticket and attendance records. We use it under our agreement with you, our legitimate interests, our legal duties around child performance licensing and health and safety, and your consent for photography. We never sell your data. You can see it, correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw consent at any time, and we will reply within one month.

Your rights

  • See the data we hold about you
  • Have it corrected if it is wrong
  • Have it deleted, where we do not need to keep it
  • Object to or restrict how we use it
  • Ask for your data in a portable form

How to ask

To see what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted.

Speak to any committee member, or ask for the Secretary. The company does not publish an email address, so the quickest written route is a message to the company on Facebook.

We answer requests within one month and there is no charge. If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

The company has not yet adopted a cookie policy or a set of website terms as documents in their own right. The description of this website above is what the site does today, and it will be kept in step with it.

There is no email address or telephone number for the company anywhere on this site, because there is no shared one to publish. Facebook, or a word with any committee member, is how the company is reached.
