What is missing
The company was founded in 1929 and the earliest photograph here is from 2003. Seventy-odd years of productions went unphotographed, or were photographed on to paper that has not reached us. That is the largest gap in this archive by a very long way, and it is the one somebody reading this may be able to close.
The galleries also come in two kinds, which is why an early one looks softer than a recent one. Up to 2015 they are scans recovered from the company’s old website, and they are published at the size they were scanned at rather than blown up. From 2016 they are the photographer’s own files.
Where a gallery exists it is the whole evening, in the order it was taken, rather than a dozen highlights. A member looking for the number they were actually in can find it.

383 of these 3,484 photographs have a written description of what is in the frame. The rest carry only the production and the year. Nothing here names who is in a picture, or which scene it is: the company’s records do not say, so the descriptions stop at what can be seen.
